SISG and our IBM Partnership

Strategic Information Systems Group has been an IBM Business Partner for the last 5 years. The experiences and enablement that SISG has developed within the IBM partnership are numerous and of great value to our clients and prospects. Below are listed some of the capabilities co-developed by SISG using IBM enablement and support. These are robust capabilities which include infrastructure enablement, application software development and support, and other capabilities that provide complete solutions, support, and Technology and Architectural Assessments.
Products for Information Integration and services include the Asential ETL suite as well as Cognos BI and Reporting capabilities. Infrastructure environments includes database support such as DB2 and Operating Systems on hardware such as IBM AIX, Linux, and X-series servers. These solutions do not require an all IBM solution. SISG clients and prospects with non IBM components can be assured of SISG’s agnostic approach and ability to integrate to all vendor solutions that they require. These are made available to our clients and prospects at all IBM Innovation Centers and other location in the U.S. and Europe at such locations such as Paris, France and Hursley, U.K.

Our facilities include providing training and briefing facilities, as well as Proof of Concept and Proof of Technology facilities and support. These offerings can expedite project initiation and execution and time to market, reduce costs, and control project risk.

The links at this site focus on IBM solutions and products such as Rational ReqPro, Requirements Composer, Rational Clear Quest and Clear Case, as well as automated testing and other collaboration software solutions. These along with structured project management practices, insure a good methodology approach for project definition and execution, from requirements gathering thru final delivery and operational and maintenance management. This insures project governance, compliance and traceability polices are defined and enforced at all times All delivered work are transitioned to clients and includes formal documentation, best practices, and training.
